We are delighted to welcome Roxanne Fyanucci to the stage, and I am sure you can agree she looks delicate, dazzling and dreamlike in her spring ensemble. There are too many colors and blooms to mention, but collectively Roxanne has without a doubt succeeded in putting the bloom into flowers!

HOW TO AUDITION:
1. Send your best FULL PERM 512 X512 headshot to Jamee Sandalwood AND Reign Congrejo labeled MISS VIRTUAL WORLD 2020 (your name) – Please do not change the title, the year or forget your name, or we may not find it and your entry will not be considered. Also, please send to both names. Send the texture only, no folders or note cards as they will be deleted.
2. Join THE BEST OF SL Magazine Readers Group. All MISS VIRTUAL WORLD 2020 announcements will be made in this group. Copy/Paste the link below in local chat, click it and join!

3. Deadline to Submit is 9pm SLT on Saturday, August 31, 2019.
4. Those selected to walk in the live Audition will be notified in the Best of SL Magazine Readers Group on or before September 5, 2019.
5. There will be one and only one live audition. This audition will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 10am SLT. Please allow 2 hours for this audition depending on the number of candidates selected to audition. More instructions will be given to those selected to walk in the live Audition.
6. This means your face shot will be your first impression on the judges, so make it fabulous! Photoshop is allowed, but please keep photographs realistic so that it reflects how you actually look in Second Life.
7. If you get enough votes from the judges at the live audition, you will be announced as an official MISS VIRTUAL WORLD 2020 candidate.
8. See the official timeline stated below for dates and times for this pageant.
9. You must be a RL female and be able to conduct voice interviews.
10. If you don´t speak English, you may still audition, but you must provide a translator for yourself during interviews and rehearsals if you become an official finalist. All official meetings and rehearsals will be done in voice with English being the language used.

From Singapore to Second Life: come to the Caravanserai for a one-night stop over to witness a grand live concert, streamed online as Singapore wordsmiths and improv musicians team up with accomplished artists, writers, musicians, comics, filmmakers and poets from Germany, UK, Holland, Portugal, Japan, Mexico, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Canada and the USA.
This coming together of SL and Singaporean artists is in aid of Feed a Smile, a charity serving Kenyan school children.
Feature artists include Yadleen (ambient keyboards), Karima Hoisan and Natascha Randt, (machinima screening and discussion) in world poets and well known performers like Rosedrop Rust on the same programme as comedians such as Esteban Voljeti and world wide storytellers like Caledonia Skytower.
Kaylee West, founder of Chinese Island, a part of the Monash University sims where Caravanserai is located says, ‘So much of world history is built on the dialogue and cultural exchange represented by the land and sea Silk Roads.”
Her colleague, Singh, (Dr Chris Moone-Singh, an Australian located in Singapore, himself a poet-singer and educator adds, ‘We are very happy to start the Silk Road Series and share the heritage of East-West arts.”
As the Singaporeans share South-East Asian culture, world artists likewise share their poems, songs and stories this unique programme will be streamed live from Second Life from their online locations in the spirit of bygone days along the digital Silk Road.

For this challenge, I looked at the links provided and I knew exactly what I wanted to style.
I imagined myself a beautiful day of skiing and an evening in the most smart and the trendiest club where to relax and to party with the music. A mix of fashion music and Haute Couture style.
Styling and shooting photo were made the same day, the day we received the notecard. and 3 days later, my pictures were ready.
I have this magic relation with my SL sister Asia Rae, when I ask her for a shooting, she always accept. This time, I just told her my styling will be silver and white with some feathers, and she just look at me when I arrived for the shooting and without I say nothing more, we were connected on the same way and she realise exactly the background I imagine.
We share the same passions about mountains and ski and I'm very gratefully to have Asia in my SL life, and supporting each other.

Background :
I was inspired by the Breton Legend of Dahut. Also called Ahes, she was a princess present in several Breton legends.
In the story of the drowning of Ys, the king's daughter Dahut is the cause, and she becomes a sea morgen.
Mari morgans are Welsh and Breton water spirits that drown men. They may lure men to their death by their own sylphic beauty, or with glimpses of underwater gardens with buildings of gold or crystal. They are also blamed for heavy flooding that destroys crops or villages.
The morgens are eternally young, and like sirens they sit in the water and comb their hair seductively.
Tales of morgens are preserved in the British countryside, even in some parts of South West England. One example from western Somerset has a fisherman adopt an infant morgen, only to lose her when she grows up and returns to her parents' underwater palace.

For this Urban second skin styling, I inspired myself about some stylist as Yohji Yamamoto, Sebastian Gunawan and Issey Miyake. I keep in mind the styling must be dynamic with an athletic and urban edge. So I mixed men and women outfits, for a natural look with some original touch on it. Roxaane is a dynamic and natural woman and don't hesitate to go out his confort zone to innovate with this urban winter styling, mixing sand and camels tones, soft lines and she's ready for his favorite season.

Barnum and Bailey was the most famous circus in the world. From the trapeze, clowns, contortionists, Jugglers, and talents animals; It was by far the most entertaining show on earth. There were also other circuses that brought more focus upon the choreography and contortionists are of bringing the style and wow of the big top circus yet it showed that style and grace ruled also. You were now tasked with presenting each act that would come out and perform for the audience. Being the announcer/presenter of the Barnum and Bailey Circus meets Cirque De Soleil you know you have to be somewhat of a spectacle yourself."Style a high fashion couture look that is circus inspired with an edge. Autour de ma cabane en bois,
cachée derrière les herbes folles,
les saisons font la farandole et chantent la ronde des mois.
Si le toit n'est que de chaume,
le ciel tombe en pluie de pastels,
plus loin mûrit la mirabelle,
et ma cabane rit sous l'orme.
Si le lit n'est que de paille,
dehors il y a la mousse, épaisse et tendre vers la source qui s'enfuit sous la broussaille.
Oui je regarde avec douceur
